Upon completing the IIM Udaipur Advanced Certificate Programme in Business and Data Analytics, participants will achieve the following program objectives:

- Machine Learning: This comprehensive course covers machine learning techniques from basic to advanced levels. Key modules include supervised and unsupervised learning, regression models, decision trees, and neural networks. Practical applications and case studies using real industry data are emphasized to solve business problems and understand the latest technologies in AI. Students will engage in hands-on projects to build, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models.
- Marketing Strategy & Analytics: This course combines data analysis with marketing strategy. Students learn statistical methods for analyzing marketing data, AI and automation in marketing, and practical applications using tools like Google Analytics and Python. Hands-on projects include customer segmentation, predictive modeling, and integrating AI into marketing strategies to enhance digital marketing efforts.
Duration & Number of Session Hours:
This 12 Credit Programme Comprises:
Duration: 3 Months, 180 Hours of Live Interaction.
Number of Sessions (75 – 120 Minutes each): 108 sessions across 3 months
Frequency: 9-12 sessions (i.e., 15-18 hours) a week
*Students are expected to do self-study, research, work on labs, projects, assignments, assessment and other activities as per the requirements of each individual course.
**The programme duration may be slightly extended due to unavoidable situations.
Pedagogy:
- The pedagogy will be a judicious mix of lectures, case discussions, project work, term papers, quizzes and assignments etc.
Assessment:
Performance of participants will be monitored on a continuous evaluation basis through attendance, quizzes, projects, assignments, tests and examinations. The participant is required to score minimum marks/grades as decided by the Institute from time to time to complete the course.
IIM Udaipur and Futurense Technologies Pvt Ltd. shall be responsible for the evaluation of the respective topics taught by them.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Diploma (10+2+3)/Graduate/Postgraduate from Universities recognized by the Association of Indian Universities
- At least 50% marks in either Diploma or graduation or post-graduation (or its equivalent)
- Clearing the Pre-Screen Assessment and selection in the US university
How the Courses will be Delivered:
Courses will be delivered through on-line mode using an appropriate technology Synchronized platform. Lectures will be delivered through broadband based technology involving two-way audio and video communication. Sessions will be held throughout the week, along with classes mostly on weekends. Participants can attend sessions directly from their desktop/laptop (Direct-2-device). Participants will be provided reading materials etc. for each course. They may also interact with the concerned faculty through e-mails/ chat mode.

Credit Transfer of Admission to US University: The programme may allow certain participants (enrolled for the Futurense US Pathway programme) to get admission in the US university courses after completion. The Credit transfer, admission process, selection criteria, and final selection to the US universities are not under the control/discretion of IIM Udaipur. IIM Udaipur does not promise/guarantee any credit transfer to any US-based university or admission to any of its programmes.
The participants have to independently ensure such modalities with Futurense Technologies Pvt Ltd or other third parties. IIM Udaipur will only deliver the course agreed and the certificate will be awarded after completion of the norms mentioned above for the “Advanced Certificate Programme in Business and Data Analytics”.

PROGRAM FACULTY
Debanjan Mitra
Program Director
Dr. Debanjan Mitra earned his Ph.D. in statistics from McMaster University, Canada, in 2012. He is currently an Associate Professor at IIM Udaipur. Earlier, he held a faculty position at IIT Guwahati. He has a long experience of teaching a wide array of analytics courses such as predictive analytics, advanced analytics, business statistics, data mining, data visualization in the full-time MBA programs of IIM Udaipur. He has also taught various analytics courses in the short-term executive programs offered by the institute for various companies. Dr. Mitra is an active researcher; his research papers have appeared consistently in highly reputed international journals. In addition to teaching and research, Dr. Mitra served as a member of the Board of Governors, and as a member of the Advisory Board for the Centre for Digital Enterprise Management at IIM Udaipur.
Ujjwal Das
Program Director
Dr. Ujjwal Das currently is an associate professor in OM, QM & IS area. He obtained his PhD in mathematical sciences from Northern Illinois University in 2011. He served as a postdoctoral research fellow at the department of Biostatistics in University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He also worked as a senior research Statistician at Abbott Labs in North Chicago. Thereafter he joined IIM Udaipur as an assistant professor and started teaching courses on business statistics, advanced analytics in 2-year MBA, 1-year MBA programs along with short term executive programs offered from the institute. In addition to teaching Prof. Das is also an active academic researcher in applied statistics. He has published papers in international journals which show his ability of independent research in applied statistics.
